After trailing Notre Dame 31-7 at the half, Tennessee had one of the most incredible comebacks ever that was capped off by this pass from Andy Kelly to Aaron Hayden who went untouched for a 26 yard touchdown. The ensuing extra punt gave Tennessee a 35-34 lead that would go on to be the final score in what is now known as “the miracle at south bend”
