Dylan Biehl
Currently a three-star recruit, Biehl has already turned heads with his ability on the field as a tackle, playing in high school against some of the toughest competition in the country. Our recent conversation with Dylan about his commitment gave us a deeper understanding of why he chose UVA, what the future holds, and how he sees his role on the team.
“I really felt at home when I visited,” Biehl said when asked why he chose UVA. “It’s not just about football for me—it’s about the school, the people, and the community that comes with being a Cavalier. UVA just felt like the perfect fit.”
This sentiment is more than just a casual reflection; it’s a realization that the University of Virginia offers the ideal blend of academics and athletics. For Biehl, it was about much more than just playing football—he’s looking for growth both on and off the field.
Biehl’s commitment also reflects the kind of athlete UVA is known for attracting: someone who is not only skilled but also understands the balance between academic rigor and athletic achievement. “The academic opportunities are incredible, and I knew that I’d be supported both on and off the field,” he continued. “It’s a program that truly cares about its athletes growing in all aspects of life.”
At 6’4″ and 275 pounds, Biehl is a strong, imposing figure on the offensive line. He primarily plays tackle in high school but is open to the idea of shifting inside to guard at UVA, depending on what the team needs. “I’ve played tackle, but I’m definitely open to moving inside if that’s where they need me,” Biehl said. His adaptability will be an asset to the UVA coaching staff as they build their future offensive line.
When it comes to his future with the Cavaliers, Biehl’s outlook is filled with optimism. “I really think the future of UVA football is bright,” he shared. “The coaches have a vision, and I want to be a part of it. They’ve been bringing in top-tier talent, and I believe the program is heading in the right direction. I’m looking forward to making my mark and helping the team grow.” Biehl’s confidence in UVA’s direction is palpable, and he’s eager to contribute to the team’s success.
One of the most exciting parts of Biehl’s future at UVA is his anticipation of the rivalry with Virginia Tech. The annual clash with UVA’s in-state rival is a huge part of the program’s history, and for Biehl, it’s something he’s looking forward to with great excitement.
“The Virginia Tech game is one I’ve always looked forward to,” he said. “It’s a big deal for the fans and the players, and I can’t wait to be a part of that. I’ve heard a lot about the rivalry, and I’m excited to be in that atmosphere.”
For Biehl, the rivalry is more than just a game—it’s a chance to be part of something bigger than himself and represent UVA on a grand stage. His passion for the game is evident, and you can sense his eagerness to experience the intensity of one of college football’s most heated matchups.
It’s clear that Dylan Biehl’s commitment to UVA is about more than just football. He’s driven, grounded, and excited to contribute to a program with a bright future. His adaptability on the offensive line will serve him well at UVA, and his enthusiasm for the rivalry with Virginia Tech shows that he’s ready to embrace the full college football experience.
As UVA football continues to grow and develop, the addition of players like Biehl only strengthens the foundation for future success. Coach Elliott is already utilizing Dylan as an asset to the program, having him help recruit other top-notch talent to join the Hoos. Though he didn’t mention other recruits by name, there is no doubt that Biehl will have a positive influence in persuading other elite players to consider UVA.
Biehl’s commitment may be just one step in his journey, but it’s clear that the best is yet to come for this talented offensive lineman. His growth as both a player and a person will make his journey to UVA one to watch closely, and we can’t wait to see him in the orange and blue.
GO HOOS!
