Our self-scouting continues as we take a dive into the Texas Longhorns’ offensive line.Texas lost the majority of its production from a year ago, replacing both tackles, a guard and a center — all of which are now on NFL rosters. The remaining players are talented, but have yet to live up to their full potential, as they try to gel with a group of relatively inexperienced, yet talented newcomers.

We are inching ever closer to the kickoff of the 2025 season and this week we preview the SEC opener against the Florida Gators. This time last year, Billy Napier was on the hot seat, and while he did enough last year to stay around he will need another step forward to keep interest high in the Swamp. How will DJ Lagway’s development help that and what will they do at the skill positions to support him?

The Texas Longhorns once again saw their top pass catchers make their way to the professional ranks with early draft picks, meaning they once again are looking for who will be the top player in the wide receiver room. There is a ton of talent in the room, with top-100 recruits from the last three cycles populating that room, but none of them have been the top guy at Texas yet.
